New Library Object

Creating a New Library Object

The New Library Object button lets you log data with/without adding a file onto the system.

Select the New Library Object button. Once selected a pop up will appear.

Type of Object

Here you are given the option to select the type of object you would like.
Select the object, once selected another pop up will appear.

General Object Meta Data

Here you will see fields to put in meta data for the selected object. eg. Title, comment..etc.

  1. A field with a yellow astrix before the name is a required field.
  2. the fields with a drop down button, you will have to select the required data from the drop down,
  3. To add data to a drop down select the pencil icon on the far left of the text field.

To attach a file to this data

  1. Click the button on the right of the Attach file text field. This will open My Folder, If you would like more info on my folder you can find it in the my folder help option.
  2. Now you need to tag what type of object you are creating/adding. Select the object type in the drop down.
