Attaching Rss Feed

Click the Rss list button

Select the feed you would like to use and click on the Load button

Remove Hardware

Right Click on the player and select "Remove Hardware" from the Options drop down.

A pop up appears warning you that you are about to remove the player hardware.
If you are sure about it, click "Remove"

Edit Meta Data

Right click on the player and select "Edit Metadata" from the pop up menu.

1. Player: Here are the meta data fields for your player
2. Date / Time Constraints
3. Permissions
4. Rights

Add New Hardware

Select the Add Hardware button

Input the

1. Player Name: The name of your player
2. Player MAC: The mac address of the player

Once you have filled in the fields click Save

Opening in Player Manager

Double click the player that you would like to open in the Player Manager

Overview

Player Hardware Admin is where you can manage your player hardware

1. Player ID: This is the players ID number
2. Player Name: Here shows you the name of the player
3. Mac Address: This shows the mac address of the player

Using Sequences in the interactive project

When project is on sequence, only videos play when you preview the project.
See below on how to set the interactive to sequence.

Sequence property

Tick the sequence box to make it active
The “Is Exitable” must also be ticked if you an interactive switch to other layers otherwise untick if you don’t have other layers.

When you preview the interactive with sequence on – only videos in the nodes play.
So only videos in Node 2 and 3 will play on preview.
To see the other content in other nodes you will have to touch and navigate screen manually.

Adding Nodes

Click on Add Nodes to add as many nodes you require – If you click on Root, they all go under.
If you want to make Node to go under a Node already made…Click on that node then click add node.

Click on Root to see the nodes created.

Blank Nodes

Searching for Content / Media on Interactive

1. Open Library
2. Choose the content category you want to add
3. Type in the name of content or type in an asterix (*)
4. Click Search for results.

Attaching content to the Node

You can attach a piece of content to a Node by either:

Option 1

Click on the Node, then click on content you want to add
Click on add to Node

Option 2

Click on the content you want to add, then drag it and place it over the Node you want to add on.

Option 3

Click and drag all the content you want to use to the box on the right hand side – under filter.
Then Close the library box – drag from the filter box and then place over the node that you want to add on.

Adding Item Style

1. Click on the Node and then dropdown then choose ” Item Template”
2. Type in the name or an asterix
3. Click Search
4. Apply to Node

Type in the Project Name on Project Title and save the project (Make sure the HTML is on if you want to see the previews)

Test Lesson Project

Click on Preview and you will see the styles and the nodes created.

Adding Background to the interactive project

Click off the preview button
Click on the background – top right of screen, as shown above…
1. Choose the colour you want for the background
2. Save the project
3. Click on preview and you will notice the background colour has changed.

You can also use picture or image as a background for your interactive…see below.

Adding image as a backgound to the interactive

1. Open the library folder
2. Make sure this is on Media
3. Choose the background imaging
4. Type in the name of the picture or an asterix
5. Click on Search and select the picture you want to use
6. Click on “Add to Back Image”
7. Save the project and lastly, click on Preview.

Project Title: You type in the Project Name in this block
HTML Render: If you want to save your project as an HTML, this block must be switched on
