The View Policy Tool is used to display a detailed information on a policy.
View Policy Details
Double click on the policy in the Policy Admin grid.

A new tab will open on the right of your screen displaying the policy details.

The New Policy tool is used to create new policies to be used when assigning permissions.
To access the New Policy dialog, select New Policy from the options menu
the New Policy Form window will be displayed. The policy form has the following options :
Policy Name : The quick access name give to the policy.
Description : This Field describes the policy and or its typical usage.
Share : If set to Public the policy will be available to all users on the system.
Content Group : Defines the content group that the policy will authenticate.
Tag Group : Defines the Tag group that the policy will authenticate (All content is tagged when logged into the system ).
Territory Group : Defines the Territory group that the policy will authenticate.
Action Group : Defines the group of actions which the policy will allow.
Start Date : Determines the date from which the policy will commence from (if left blank infinity is assumed).
End Date : Determines the date the policy will expire (if left blank infinity is assumed).
Once you have selected the policy parameters click on the save button.
This tool is used to edit the selected policy.
Select the policy you would like to edit and click on options then select Edit Policy.
A window will pop up with the field names on the left and the policy data on the right.

Edit the fields you would like to change and then select save.
The Delete Policy tool is used to remove permission policies from the system.
Select the policy you want to remove by clicking on the row.
A confirmation dialog appears, click on the Yes button to delete the policy.
Warning : When you delete a policy from the system any permissions authenticating though the policy will be removed when the policy is removed.
The Policy Administration tab is used to create, edit and manage permission policies available to the system
Each row in the grid displays a system policy. The policy name is used as a short reference when applying the policies. The policy description provides a English description for the policy.
Each policy is owned by a user on the system, the policy can be set to private or public for sharing. The start and end date determines the valid date range the policy will be effective (if no date range is defined the infinity is assumed) .
By clicking the unfold icon in each row (plus sign) you can access the policy details .
