System Task Overview

This tool gives you a front end look at the linux output for the command “top”

This is the system tasks tool and shows you the following:

  1. PID : The ID of the process
  2. USERD : Name of the user whom executed the task
  3. TIME : The time the process started
  4. %CPU : The amount of CPU that the task is using
  5. %MEM : The amount of memory that the task is using
  6. COMMAND : The command for the task

To filter the task

  1. pick a update time from the drop down
  2. type in a name/number that you would like to filter by

To manually refresh click the “Refresh” button.

This is the system processes tool and shows you the following:

  1. UID : Name of the user whom executed the process
  2. PID : The ID of the process
  3. TIME : The time the process started
  4. CMD : the command for the process

To filter the process

  1. pick a update time from the drop down
  2. type in a name/number that you would like to filter by

Overview

Looking at the System tools, these are back end commands that have been implemented into a visual for administrator users.

In the System Tools tab you will see two options

  1. System Process (a tool that shows the process running on the system)
  2. System Tasks ( this shows the tasks that are currently running)

To access one of these options left click on one.
