Creating a new process
Click on the "New Processess Definition"
A pop up will appear with the meta data fields that need to be filled in.
Once you have added / selected the process fields click on the save button.

The System Processes tab is used to create, edit and manage the systems processes

This view shows you two types of process types
To view each of the entry’s in the Process types click on the + button.
It shows the following details:
Process Type: System / User
Process Name: The name of the process
Description: Gives you a brief description of what the process does.
There are options to create new, delete and edit the processes.
This tool is used to assign processes to content tag types. The processes are executed when a user ingests a piece of content with the corresponding tag type.
Click on the row in the grid of the content tag you want and then click the "Tag Processes" button.
Select from the left column the process you want to assign and click the right arrow.
To remove a process assignment click on the process in the right column and click the left arrow button.
This tool is used to add new content tags to the system.
Click the "New Tag" button.
A form with the content types attributes will appear, fill in the attributes and click save.
This tool is used to edit the attributes of existing content tags.
Click on the row in the grid of the content tag you want to edit and then click the "Edit Tag" button.
A form with the content types attributes will appear, make the required changes and click save.
This tool is used to remove Content tags from the system.
Click on the row in the grid of the content tag you want to remove and then click the "Delete Tag" button.
You will be prompted to confirm the delete command, click on the Yes button to delete.
This module is used to create, edit and delete content tags for use within the database.
Any media being added to the system must be tagged before the system will accept the new content.
On ingest the tag invokes the underlying processes which have been assigned to it thereby automating task like formatting content,notification,etc.
This tool is used to edit the viability of the various content types within the system.
A form with the content types attributes will appear, make the required changes and click on save.
This module is used by administrators to set which media content types are viewable from with in the web browser.
If the content type is set to viewable the system will attempt to serve the content embedded within the web page.
The media encoder is used to transcode media on the system between various media formats. The media encoder is only available to valid media items.
The "TC IN" and "TC OUT" fields are used to mark an in point and out point on the source for the new file to use.
If these fields are left blank the system will use the entire file. Once you have filled in the form click on the encode button and the encode is placed into the process cue.
